Key fob not working...

i think if the battery is weak or the connection is weak then the key fobs don't work. i think that is what's wrong with mine.

Haven't heard of that one. Maybe it's on the auto trans only. Don't have one on my 5 speed.

I've had to have two fobs replaced from my dealer. The solder is fine and a new battery was in and still didn't work. Most likely the carbon on the rubber side of the fob is no longer making the contact. Ebay has new inserts for $2.50 shipped. Ordered one and it worked great. Good luck and keep us posted.
