Leaking seal or gasket near rear wheel

Can someone please identify this round seal that is leaking underneath my hhr and what it goes to. I believe it has something to with the brakes. It's a light yellow clear liquid, oily, slippery. I've tried searching for hours and cant figure out what it is. Thanks for the help.

Kind of like somebody tipped a jug of laundry detergent over coming home from the grocery store?

The picture looks to be by the rear footwell of the car.
The stain is in two spots.
And it looks like a rubber floor pan plug.
Did you spill anything inside the car ?

Don you posted faster than me. Lol.

Welcome to the site, yes it looks like something dripping down , the brake lines and fuel lines are under that black plastic guarding.
is the carpet wet in the rear driverside footwell?
does this HHR have a sunroof?
and that laundry detergent might be the culprit, or just a wash.

Sometimes overlooking something so simple can cause us stress. I appreciate y'alls quick advice, and you were correct. Theres about 4 quarts of oil sitting on my floor board behind the driver seat, because my dumbass forgot to completely tighten a 5 quart container that proceeded to tip over. No wonder I couldnt find anyone else with a similar problem. My apologies. You can delete this thread if needed.

Well, with your approval, let’s leave it for future reference, proof it’s happened to someone besides me, thankfully it dumped on the Weathertech mat.

That's absolutely fine by me if you want to keep this page as a reference.

Hey, look on the good side of things - that spot will never rust out now it's been well oiled. ;)

Yeah I once had a bag of stuff in the rear footwell, including a can of WD-40. It somehow shifted and ended up spraying itself empty.
I then had proof that WD-40 does leave behind a sticky yellow lubricant.
