Misfire on Cylinder #3

Hey guys, my check in light came on the other day on my 2007 LT. I went to autozone and they said cylinder #3 is misfiring. I heard there was a TSB on the 2007 that this should be covered under the 100k drivetrain warranty. Does that sound accurate? FYI.. it was a rental car and I am the 2nd owner in case that matters. Vehicle has 56k miles.

I heard that some engines had incorrectly installed piston rings, but I can't find the TSB in the list.

Anyone know how to make the TSB thread more easily searchable? Currently I have to open each page and search for text in the page.

The issue with the heads is the valve guides becomming loose.

If you're out of warranty, you probably have a good case for GM to cover the repairs, due to this being a known issue. See what your dealer will do for you.

Well for those interested, the dealer did end up reseating the valve on cylinder 3. Total cost would have been $4400. Thankful for powertrain warranty!!

4400$ for a new valve? LOL. I see GM is still excessive on their repair bills.
