Mysterious oil loss
Mysterious oil loss - my motor was done
Have you tried a leak-down test yet?
I performed one on mine and i found rings and or valves were shot in every cylinder, not only that my complete exhaust system was full of oil. I never pursued a fix since i was unemployed and sold the car. My lesson : NEVER USE AN AFTER MARKET AIR CLEANER, this was the only car i ever bought new, the money came from my inheritance, sold it with 110K miles for 1600$ ,, was a great car tho

Check your Oil Pressure senders, kids... I had one let go. But it was dropping oil right after startup and oil refill... Top it off and if you have spots underneath right after starting, you could have this issue...
I was losing a quart every 100 miles

There are definitely no oil leaks on this car lol. I'm relatively sure it's oil rings as the burning oil smell is constant and no real "blue" smoke like if it was valve seals. I'm going to try an engine oil cleaner and see if it helps clear it up :)
For Seafoam, the best retail price I have ever seen was a clearance for $7 a can.
Amazon has it for less every day as an Add On ($6.99) but I get a 12-pack at a time for a few cents less.
