Need help please

I have 09 hhr and I was driving home one night and my car just cuts off I pull over it won't start, I get towed home and my boyfriend looks at my car and says fuel pump. I got the fuel pump replaced and it still done the same thing. 3 months later I finally got someone else to look at it they say fuel injector so I replaced all 4, car cranked right up, so I go to drive my car home now it says engine power reduced. I got someone with a scanner to come I have 5 codes p0010, p0017, p0223,p0365, p2119. My cousin whom had scanner said it was not reading the camshaft position sensor on exhaust side so got it replaced and it still doesn't read. Any advice given would greatly be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Please post what the mileage is and what engine/transmission you have.

P0010 points to the intake Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid - a $50 part and 15 mins to replace it yourself - https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-...13-14-a-28779/

P0017 kinda indicates a problem with the timing chain and it's guides (fairly typical on a high mileage vehicle - use the search tool for info on P0017)
P0223 - - Throttle Position (TP) Sensor 2 Circuit High Voltage
p0365 - Exhaust Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Circuit
p2119 - P2119 Throttle Closed Position Performance

Did you clear all the codes? If not, clear them and see what problems reoccur.

Yes all codes were cleared and at first the p0010 and the p2119 came up and he checked a couple more things pertaining to them then he cleared again and the other codes came back up. and it has 165,000 miles it's a 2.2. The timing chain was replaced 2 years ago I drove the car 6 months then this happend in Feb of this year. I talk to a man about fixing my car but he wanted to charge 3000.00 to fix it and I'm a single mom and cant afford that much.

I'd tackle them one at a time - starting with the inexpensive ones:

- the P0010 which points to the intake Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid is a ~$50 part and takes15 mins to replace it yourself - https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-...13-14-a-28779/

- the Throttle position codes are often related to the throttle body needing a cleaning - here are some tips from OldBlue on that: "do not move the throttle plate manually, the little plastic gears can be stripped and destroyed very easily. Use the correct throttle body cleaner and not brake or carburettor spray." To give it the best cleaning, removing it from the car is preferred, but giving it a clean while still in the car might be enough to resolve your issues.

Having already thrown what was probably a huge number of $'s at it - if the problems continue after the 2 items above are done, it might be best to take it to a REAL mechanic who can lay hands on it and properly diagnose the issues. The fuel pump replacement, and the fuel injectors alone must have been a hefty bill.

AND, have you bothered to have the ignition switch recall done? Since suddenly cutting off is the reason for the recall.

Thank you so much for the advice, I will get the cheapest stuff done first hopefully this week. I want to say thank u so much for the advice you have provided me. I haven't manage to meet anyone that knows anything about my car. Most everyone around me that I know and they have spoke with only knkow about older vehicles and their technologies. I have learned alot by being on this website about my car and YouTube on how to so it myself lol. I hope all of y'all have a great day and will update the outcome once i get it done. Again THANK YALL

Give the Chevrolet Dealer your Vin Number. You can see it from the outside looking thru the front windshield, Drivers Side.
They will take that number and tell you what the status is on the Ignition switch Recall.
They might even do it for you over the phone.
If it has not been done,
I would do that first thing before starting any other projects.
