NO Cruise control, remote start or autolock...all quit at once

There has to be some relevance to this...this must have happened to someone else...??
These all quit at once...No cruise, no remote start, no autolock/when you put it in gear. when you press the remote start (yes, I know how to use it) it clicks under the hood & then is sounds like something else comes un but it does not kick in & turn the motor over...

Try re-booting the BCM/ECM by disconnecting the battery for approx. 30 min. Had the same problem, worked for me. Hope this helps.

Ok, I had the same experience today, cruise not working, door locks not locking when shifting out of park.. 07 HHR 2LT 68K miles,, already tried disconnecting neg battery terminal, nothing changed. Maybe I need to leave it disconnected longer, only had it off for about 10 min.
Ok, UPDATE,
I went back and disconnected the neg term on battery for about an hour,
connected it back and voila, all is fixed.
WTF? what kind of weird electronics is that?

Any other helpful hints here? I am going to try to do the unplug battery tomorrow morning. Is there a part that needs to be replaced or something.

This started happening to me this morning.

* No auto start
* no Cruise
* No brake lights
* clicking in shifter box when brakes pressed
* power locks not working when shifter is put into place or in drive.

Just to circle back ... I tried the rebooting the car method above (disconnect the battery and let it sit a few hours) and that solved all the issues. Thanks the_shmoo!
