Just because I don’t think it was emphasized enough already,

To avoid turning a possibly fixable motor into an unfixable one, DON’T EVEN TRY TO START IT until you fix the timing chain or prove it’s OK.

I put whiteout where 12 o'clock is supposed to be.Its maybe 8cm off.Cant get it to exactly 12.Will that mess the timing up on the new chain?

You are supposed to align the mark on the chain to the mark on the sprocket, which is at about 5 O'clock. Not at TDC.

That's why there are 3 marked links; idiot proof. (not a personal comment)

Align the bottom, then the top right then the top left. Check the marks, button up.

You put the white at the crankshaft keyway, it should be at 12 o'clock. If the camshaft marks are lined up with the crankshaft in the position you're showing, then your ignition timing is definitely off.

When you remove the chain, the camshafts are going to move due to the valve spring pressure.

But please clarify why you "can't " move the crankshaft?

I think you mean mm, not cm. 8cm is over 3".

On the new chain I see the marked links but not the one that's already on it.So the bottom is supposed to be at 5 o'clock?

I've turned the crankshaft key but it won't stop dead on 12 o'clock!Watched the 47.00min video on YouTube several times and its still not going as I thought.Never been a mechanic but I'm trying my best.Don't have the funds as I'm moving too, otherwise it would be in a shop!

The crank won’t go to TDC possibly because of valve to piston interference.

this mark lines with the marked link in chain.

Then the next marked link lines up to the intake cam sprocket.

Then the exhaust

Don't worry about TDC. As long as all 3 marks on the sprockets line up with the marked links you are right.
