PAL problem

I turned on my PAL this morning it won't play but is searching through all the music. The display just keeps on cycling through the artists. Anyone else have problems?

I would power down the ipod and retry if you can. Mine locked on me last week while playing in the car. When I unplugged it from PAL it still wouldn't work or shut off or do anything but show the last song I was listening to. I had to let the battery run all the way down and when I got home I plugged it into the charger and everything was good again.

I don't take mine out (except to add/delete music) and sometimes it will get "stuck" on an artist or playlist, etc. I unplug it from the connector, then plug it back in after a few seconds--kind of jump starts it and haven't had a problem scrolling once I do this.

I have a Nano iPod if that helps.

I took my Nano out and restarted it and it seems to be fine now.

Thanks John
