So, no answer about if your car already has the vacuum pump installed ?
If the "add on" pump was never installed in your car, the warranty company is not going to put one on for you.
They may cover it if it was installed previously.

That what I'm thinking, if it's there it might be covered, if it's not, it's on your dime!

We're just trying to help you out here.
Asking about the vacuum pump is because it was NOT a part that was on the car when new. It was a part that got added on by the dealer as a repair to the hard brake issue.
If your car currently has that part installed, it might be covered by your aftermarket warranty.
If your car does not have that part installed it means the previous owner never had it dealer(GM) fixed per the TSB and almost certainly will not be covered by your warranty.

Read that TSB Donbrew posted. I feel like you're not understanding what this vacuum pump fix/repair really is.

Yes, just trying to help by understanding, sometimes a little elaboration is a good thing, sometimes not.
We just want that SS fixed , just like you do.

The entire TSB is too long to fit in a post, it includes detailed installation instructions with photos.

If you would like a .pdf copy give me a PM and I can send you a link.

I have not been under the car,so I don't know if I have one.I am bringing the car in for another problem,so at same time they can check it.If it is not covered I will do it myself.I don't understand why GM is not covering it it is a safety hazard.I can't get under the car now since I have another car on the lift in my garage. When I get it off tomorrow I will get underneath to see if it is there.thanks Geeze

They did. Read the TSB. Many years ago they offered the fix, free of charge.
8 years later I'm not sure what the status would be on getting that pump installed now.
That would be a question for your dealer/GM.

It is not under the car. I cited which fuse and relay to look for. The pump itself is near the vacuum assist.

As I said earlier; I think it may be the pump has malfunctioned. Especially because you SEEM to have never noticed before. But, you didn't acknowledge the question.

Hey Don.
Every thing I've seen and read on this site shows the pump mounted by the oil pan/block seam. Between the radiator and engine.
Most likely can't clearly see the pump from above.

It mounts somewhere close to here(yellow X's) where I added my charge pipe brace.
Disregard the red circle.
