Hello, my name is Angel and this is my very first post....ever.
I own a 2008 HHR and its been a great car. But recently I started getting the "power steering" message pop up and l lose my power stearing. It resets when I turn the car off and I get my power stearing back. But its to the point where I'm losing my power stearing 2 minutes after I turn it on. Has anyone had this issue?? Any ideas on what the problem is??

Welcome to the site and forums.

Sounds like your power steering motor needs replacement - they aren't that expensive, and are easy to replace. See the replacement How-To: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-tutorial-library-21/power-steering-motor-replacement-w-pics-31289/ (as noted in post # 4 above)

Thanks Whopper. I'll look into that motor. Nice illustrations. Looks easy.
