Power steering problem

Power steering problem
I have the following problem:
I have a Chevrolet HHR LT (2009), automatic transmission.
From time to time, after starting the engine or during the driving, on the dashboard appears "Power Steеring" and the arrows of all devices on the dashboard begin "jumping" or stand in "zero" position, and the steering wheel starts to move difficult.
I drove the car to an authorized repair shop where the cables were reviewed, as well as the data from the computer, but they could not find the problem. They told me that they think there is a communication problem between the different control units of the computer, but do not know what is wrong.
Please, if anyone has had such problem or knows what the problem is, advise me what to do.

I moved your posting to a separate thread, so others will see it (tagging onto the end of an unrelated thread will not get the visibility/responses you need).
Anyways, I'd suspect the power steering motor itself - but lets see what other suggestions some of the other members can provide.

Welcome to the site Because your gauges are jumping around when your steering fails I would start with checking for loose connections.
Make sure all the fuses in the under hood fuse box are pushed in and tight.
Make sure the battery cables on the fuse box are clean and tight.
Did the shop find any codes in any of the modules?
