Power windows
 

does anyone have trouble with trying to get the back windows to go down from the drivers switches . can use the back passenger both sides and then close them with drives switch.

Sounds like you have a failing power window switch assembly, the part number for your 2009 is 25789692, GM's list price is $70.72. You can do a Google search on the part number and find them much cheaper.

Of course you may just have a loose or corroded connection on the switch itself, here's an "exploded" diagram of the door.

Our "Search" function will turn up a few threads on removing the inner door panel, it's not too difficult.
