Those plugs were old ones I had lying around that I tried just as a test I put the newer ones back today. Think this hose could have been the issue?

If that is the PCV hose ,yes it could cause codes. Also check for cracks in the air horn where it connects.

I think the air horn could also be bad. Do you have any idea what the part is called or the number? I have been searching diagrams but cant find it

After changing the hose, I drove for 20 miles then got the 107 code again It is definitely less frequent, but I need to drive 50 miles before I can get inspected

Thanks again for all your help and ideas

Thanks for that information I sprayed all my hoses and that air cleaner duct with soapy water and saw no evidence of any leaks I know that the best way is a smoke test. Wondering if I should try changing the part on the right side of the engine hooked to a vacuum hose-forgot what it is called. A small rectangular box slides on to a bracket. I can photo it later
Otherwise, thinking I should have the fuel pressure checked-could be the pump

The elbow at throttle body is under vacuum, the cracked hose allows unmetered air to be sucked in after the MAF sensor, that will trigger the code. Undo the two clamps holding it in place , remove the elbow or air horn, and visually inspect it for cracks and deterioration.

You can borrow a fuel pressure gauge at most parts palaces, it should be around 55 psi
