Angry Problems With Rear Windows..Is it the Switch??

I was wondering if anyone else was haveing problems with their rear power windows. They intermittenly will not roll down from the drivers switch. They always roll up with no problem, but when I go to roll them down sometimes I have to push the buttons repeatedly before they work. I was going to just replace the switch, but I don't want to spend the $50 for nothing. Any one else run into this?? Again, its only the rears.

Do they work fine from the rear door switch? If yes, then i would replace the button.

Did you ever solve that problem? My rear passenger side door does the same thing. Goes up ok. I have to fiddle and fiddle with the button and eventually it goes down. It is getting worse and I wouldn't care so much as my dog likes to stick his head out the rear windows. The worst part about the whole deal is I have 2010 HHR and I am reading old posts about defect or failures and I am experiencing. So GM just kept putting in the crappy parts?

@mikes40, how many miles do you have on your HHR? Under normal circumstances this type of things would be covered under the vehicle's Bumper to Bumper warranty. If you're still under the 36,000 mile mark, get the vehicle into the dealership to have this taken care.

Please, let me know how things are going.

Michelle,
I bought this used and it now has 58,000 miles on it. I have been shopping EBAY for a new main switch.
Thanks

I've had the problem for about a year now. I've seen some good prices around for a replacement, But,... I just ignore it, LOL 08 HHR SS
