quarter panel removal???-_-

So i woke up today to find my cars quarter panel damaged. Now i have a buddy who parts cars out all the time. But hes a few hours away. Could i remove this quarter panel myself or does it HAVE to be cut. Im really hopimg its a bolt on. I know i some cars the quarter panel is apart of the frame.

Quarter panel on the hhr is welded in place.

Unibody, the quarter panel/roof IS the frame.

While salvage yards and used sheet metal vendors can, and do, section the sheet metal to suit their needs. The quarter panel on an HHR actually starts at the firewall, encompasses the door apertures, and then forms the rear fender.

Why attempt this yourself? If you came out to find your vehicle damaged, file a police report since it's a "Hit & Run", then contact your insurance company.
