rear hatch won't open
So I tested all the wires and I have ground on all but the brown and white cable going tothe latch not sure if that’s the one I’m having issues with trying tracing cable as far back to see if I have a **** but couldn’t find anything. I’m still lost
So if i understand the diagram the white and brown has no voltage when I hit the latch switch, it’s like the BCM is not allowing it to open. The reason I say this is because when I put a fuse on slot 11(which is know to make the latch to never lock) that is the only way I get voltage on that white/tan wire that leads to the blue cable on the latch module.
I hope that makes sense.

The switch has no voltage it supplies ground, as a signal to the BCM and ground to the relay.
There is a splice at J312 may be a suspect. Are you sure you are not getting #10 and #11 mixed up? What happens with #10 empty fuse in #11?

Hey yes I double checked to ensure I had the in the correct slot. I also tested just putting it on slot 11 and nothing. Now the splice u mention do you have a picture because I’m a little lost on how to find that. Or a wire diagram of the plug so I know which cable is which and what I’m looking at.
it is really bizarre that it works fine every time with fuse on slot 11 but no locking capability and when I remove it then nothing.
thanks for the help any more detail u can give I continue to appreciate it.

In other words: fuse #11 supplies 12V to post #85 on the relay. If it does open by the touch pad with fuse #11 then the ground side is working; that leaves looking at the lt blu wire.
The diagram I posted tells exactly where the splice is. 10 cm is about 4 inches. The wire colors are identified. As are the pin numbers.

I think I understand. The one thing I was confused was trying to locate the right plug as I don’t have a wiring diagram so I can find the pin location to trace the wire back to the splice. I attached a picture maybe u can circle which one it is and where does pin 1 start so I can count. Thanks
