Rear Window

Went out to my car this afternoon after parking it for an hour and noticed the view in my rear view mirror was exceptionally bright! My rear glass had broken! Nothing thrown or pushed thru it, nothing around it to indicate it got struck. This is the second time in about 3 years it has happened. Anyone else have a problem with their rear glass?

There was a thread about this just last month.... Seems it could be from the rear window defroster...... Were you using it earlier?

No, I wasn't. I'll look for that thread. Thanks

Did you use the remote start on your HHR? If you did and the temps were cold enough the rear defrost will kick in with the remote start.

HHorange....I noticed that (rear defrost) with my '06 last ime I used the remote. I think it's a nice feature.
