No lockout that I am aware of. When this happened to my 08 Panel it ended up being the fobs. The solder joints on the battery hold downs break and need to be repaired.
Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

i have been using one fob(because the battery solder joints bad on the second fob) then the lock button started acting up so I changed out the keypad everything else is working but like the original keypad the back door popers will not work
so i guess it must be a circut in the fob is bad ?

If you take your key fobs to autozone you can test each button with there RF meter. If all the remote buttons work you have a problem with the car. When I had work done at the dealer few years ago the dealer and I Found out that the rear doors of the panel has its own receiver module that needs to be programed independently from the front doors.

Is there an option in the Personalization menu in the DIC? Check the OM.

Could be the poppers are gummed up. WD-40.

Contacts on the fob may be dirty or worn out. Fobs sometimes just wear out and refuse to send certain codes, mine did. I did everything to prove that it was not the fob, then got a new one and had both re programed, old one still only partially works.

Hi, newby here. Just bought a white 2010 with running boards (luv it) and mine wasn't working either (or so I thought), then I read in the manual that you have to press the unlock button "twice within 5 seconds". Tried it, and it worked!

My spare keyless fob wasn't working, and the battery contact/holder had broken loose from the pcboard. Carefully soldered it back on, but will need a fresh battery to test it.

Curiosity: I noticed that the pcboard was set up for remote start (had 7 contact 'switches') and it looks like they just use the same innards in the different housings. Which would be good to know since remote start fobs cost more - you could buy a cheaper (keyless entry only) replacement and swap out boards to save $.
