Repair codes and costs

I just took my car to get it smog checked and the guy pulled the following codes:

P0010 A Camshaft PositionAcuator Circuit/Open Bank 1
P0011 A Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance Bank 1
P0013 B Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit/Open Bank 1
P0014 B Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance Bank 1
P0606 Control Module Processor

Any guesses as to how much all of this will cost me?

You will save us all a lot of agony if you would put "p0010" into the SEARCH box at the top center of this page.

If you can't do it for yourself here is a link: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/%22h...ighlight=p0010

This subject is covered in agonizing detail.

Hi, yes, I saw and read this post. However, I don't intend to replace it myself and am wondering what the cost might be in a repair shop. Also, that post does not over the P0606 code, which I understand to be the PCM. I'm wondering if that code means it will definitely need to be replaced or whether it might just need a reset.

You would have to find the prices of parts and labor in your area, how would we know? Any DTC needs troubleshooting. But the p0606 might clear itself after the parts are replaced.

I would figure about 30 minutes to an hour labor, whatever the minimum is at any given shop. I just found out that by comparison to some my local dealership is giving labor away at $72 per hour.

I believe that all of this is covered in the thread. As tp specifics you will have to get quotes.
