Any pix of grommets I posted were off the web.

I think GM probably includes new grommets on new airboxes, so that is another vendors problem to them.

OK donbrew. Good idea when you can find them.
You could be right, but the general says all of the other rubber/nitrile parts are oem GM quality. So you should buy their parts. They will last longer.

I went to OEMCATS.com and they say 19178771 is interchangeable with or replaced by 12563914 and or 15809014. It/they is/are a 1.00 inch diameter grommet.

Buy GM 19177871 Insulator, genuine OEM part

15809014
12591715; 32mm dia

25346092; air cleaner front, interchangeable with next one
25176248; same as above

88967324;
22676978;
22693712; 1.60 dia
25920906; HHR 2008-2010 probably for SS

15776158
25099300
Now I'm really confused. It seems the further I go the behinder I get.
Too tired to continue.
To be continued later

I feel this is not getting enough attention, I've made it a sticky, and edited the first post to make this a research topic.

I've received a lot of help from this community so with this I try to pay some of it back. All credit goes to Eli at Keyes Chevy in Van Nuys, CA.
Rear insulator part#: 19177871
I hope this helps some people! The insulator on the right is from my car (2007 HHR 2.4 manual).

It looks like all VVT's had this big insulator in the back. Non VVT 2.2 had small ones.

Steddy teddy had the big one, but he said that 19177871 didn't work for him. Possibly could have been given the wrong part in a 7871 bag?

A few more data points, we may be able to clear this up.

The air box in my 2.2 2007 had the identical sized grommets at the rear as my 2011 does. So possibly Steddy Teddy had an incorrect part in the bag. It happens

I have a 2009 LT2 2.4L. I just finished replacing the intake solenoid and thought I may have to change out the insulators on the airbox. I think I read this thread 3 times to try to figure out what parts to order to have on hand.

For the back I got GM # 19177871. They matched exactly the ones on the car and had the same number molded in the rubber.
The front insulator had disintegrated so there was nothing to compare. I had ordered GM # 12563914 and it worked fine.
