Do the four way flashers work the rt rear light?

Lucky,

With his being a 2006, my question would be is it possible there is a worn turn signal wire from chafing. Try the turn signal bulb from Rear RH in the Left side and if that works, it could well be that...

I'm thinking there may be a turn signal switch problem. The four ways bypasses the turn switch inputs.

Ive got this same problem- right rear turn signal stopped working. Brake light works. If I 'knocked' lightly on the light, it would work for awhile. Stopped doing that. Not the bulb. Blinker does not work when hazards on. Someone said it was a wire chafed? What do I replace, then? Any help welcomed. I checked the wiring harness and it looks good to me, not obviously frayed wiring.

There is a ground connection near one brake light. I don't remember which side.

Have you pulled the bulb to check for corrosion on the contacts? Or tried a spare bulb - it may look fine, but you can't always see the break, and it can work intermittently.

Someone said it was a chafed wire? Did they say where it was chafed?

Thank you for the idea, I'll try and find out. I can't find the PDF I had of the electrical manual on my computer, though, i know I had it t one point.

Thanks for the reply!

Yes, I've both changed the bulb and swapped it with the other sides bulb (that side works). I didn't see any corrosion on the bulb contacts or as i could tell in the connector. I'll check again.

Eidt: I also unplugged the connector from the wire harness and checked, too; no corrosion but the middle prong (of 3) seemed kinda loose? That might be it...

If the brake light on that side works but the turn signal does not I would think the problem would be in the turn signal switch.

What puzzles me is the statement you made about taping on the tail light and it would work.
