I just bought a `07 Premiere Edition three weeks ago with 14,500 miles on it.The dealer history said they did a LOF on the vehicle just before I got it. Yes the oil has been changed.But when I start it after setting overnight I get a couple of rod knocks before the oil pressure comes up.I checked the service manual and the anti drainback is in the oil filter.Should I just change the filter again and see if this corrects the problem. I have a new AC filter. Other than this I am very happy with the HHR. Has anyone else run into this problem? Thanks in advance for any responses. Slantram.

 

You need to call the dealer and have them check it out. If the filter is wrong its their fault not yours. And since it is going to have to sit overnight for them to cold start it, tell them you need another vehicle to drive.
