Running Light Not Working

I did a battery change today and now my auto headlights don't seem to be working. I have the Auto set to on and the light work if I turn them on manually. But they don't automatically come on anymore when I start the car. Neither the headlights or the amber lights. Does anyone have a thought on what to check? Thanks. Chuck

They don't come on until you put it in gear.

Well, I've owned this car since it was new in 2010 and up until today, every time I started the car the running lights (headlights and taillights) came on, even in park, and stayed on even for a period after the engine is shut down. They would go off as soon as the door was opened. After the battery change today, that is not what is happening.

Try looking in your Owner Manual in the part about the personalization menu.

My 2008 and 2011 the DRL/headlights did not come on until I put it into gear, then stayed on for 30 seconds after I closed the driver door. The amber lights only came on in Parking.

I followed the directions in the manual to enter the personalization menu but it does not work. Pressing the info and reset button at the same time only advances the information and does not give me any other options. Chuck

Yep, did all that and had no luck. But low and behold, late this afternoon I hit the key fob to unlock the doors and all the running lights came on like they always did. Go figure. Thanks for trying to help. I just hope it stays working. Chuck

I suggest a battery load test, it could be about to go south.
also have a look at the underhood fuse box halves.
ensure they are tight

Guess you didn't read all of my original post. All this began after a battery change. I did check all the fuses. Thanks. Chuck
