Smell

Ok i had the water leak issue among other things on my HHR they just replaced the cowling and some vent that was bad. Now my ac smells like stail air, kinda musty. It seems to only happen when i turn the ac on. and have it pulling outside air. Heater not smell but as soon as i put in on cool SMELL..

Has anyone else had this problem? What should i do about it? I'm thinking about taking it back to the dealer, but i just hate going up there waiting so much of my time off dealing with this SHT... Any ideas on what to do?

Yea i have been having this problem forever i have taken it to the dealer 3 times for it and they just keep spraying frigi fresh in the ac vent, works for about 2 days then comes back. I should probablly try changing the in cabin air filter that might work.

ya i'll try that as well at their expence since i just had it replaced. I just wonder where the smell could be coming from. I had water running down the side of the passager's kick panel under the carpet.
