Stereo/Electrical Issue - Need Help!!!!

Greetings: I am having issues with my HHR’s sound/electrical system. It started out as intermittent loss of the sound from my speakers and the turn signal chime. After turning the vehicle off and then restarting it - everything worked (for a while). Thus far my local dealership has replaced the radio (twice), the Body Control Module (once), went over the wiring harness from the stereo to the speakers, updated the software (when last radio was last replaced), and have contacted GM Technical Assistance numerous times.
Last time I had it in the shop was this last February for this reoccurring issue. Everything was working fine until last week. First I lost the stereo and turn signal chime (again). I took it to dealer immediately while the issue was occurring. Unfortunately, they turned it off before looking at it and what do you know it did not happen when they started it up again. Now my current issue is an intermittent loss the safety chime for the seat belts and when the doors are open. At the save time neither of my front door speakers work. The confusing part is the turn signal chime and radio still work while this new issue is occuring. Please I need some suggestions on what is going wrong with my HHR.

First thing I would do is make sure the grounds are clean and secure. For instance there has to be a ground in each door. If one, anywhere, were to be loose or have paint that prevents contact it will show all kinds of malady's related to the electrical system.

You mentioned about "when the door is opened" the chime doesn't work with seat belts. Now I don't know if it is related or not, but I sometimes have trouble with weak chime sound or no chime with the door open and the key in the ign. I traced my problem to the connector in the wire chase that is between the drivers door and body. This member, lunchbox mafioso, had this pic in the gallery showing the connector

Thanks for the reply's. Had to take it in again, totally lost the sound from both front door speakers. It never came back even after the vehicle was turned off and turned back on again. They think that the speakers were the problem all along and both front speakers have been replace. I have had speakers go bad in other vehicles, but not both at the same time?? Sounds to me that there is something else much deeper that is wrong with my HHR, but they are not going to tell me or GM doen't what me to know about it !!!!
