Oddly enough the eBay compatibility guide says no.

Thats whats I've found too. Someone has to have that part or part number. It would be better then replacing the whole throttle body.

Everything I've ever read about says integral to throttle body, throttle bodies are less than $100 IIRC.

As stated in another thread the TPS is different and is not compatible with the HHR TPS!
The TPS is integral to the throttle body on an HHR

Used TBs go for as low as $47.

I just got around to moving this thread out of the "commonly used parts" area.

Thinking about merging the other posts by the same member on the same subject. And then I did it!

Well I tried to remove the TPS last night and I'm pretty sure I broke it. There is a small piece inside the plastic housing that connects to one of the gear posts and you cant open the housing to get it back on. Im just gonna have to buy a new TB. I've found them new for $150 (wouldn't trust a used one) does anyone know if I have to get a ecm reset when I install the new one?

I replaced one on a friends 2009 2.2 and did not require a reflash I did ensure the neg terminal at the battery was disconnected while I performed the work.
I completely reassembled the TB and the air filter box and reconnected the MAF prior to reconnecting the battery cable and start up!
My friend broke his by moving the throttle plate and striped the plastic gears

I saw them on eBay for $120.

I've seen a few for that price too, but would really like on here in AZ. There is a company in Tempe that has them. I have a 1978 Camaro that for the time being is my daily driver and I really don't want to push it too hard. So getting the HHR back up and running ASAP is a big priority at the moment. I'm just hoping I dont need a reflash, I don't know anyone who can do it or how much it'll cost.
