Reflash what? Did you do something to the computers? There is nothing to reflash when changing the TPS.
You still have not responded about the MAF. Many have bent a pin or broken a wire with no code especially 2007 models. |
Well having run out of time & patience on my sons HHR that he needed to drive back to work in Charleston, being he was only home for the holiday....
I took it to a shop I trust and has the equipment. After doing all the things I did as well as what don brew said/ they came to the conclusion the new cardone tb was defective because the ecm would not hold relearn for squat. They showed me how the throttle plate could be pushed backwards almost 9mm, compared it to a Cadillac tb that looked almost just like it. So somehow th oreillys happen to have another one (didn't I have to overnite this one?yes) and they exchanged it. Well 4 hr later I get the news this is doing the same thing, perfect just perfect right. Guess what, I got the call this am that the cars ready. The ecm had to be reflashed :D xactly what I took it there for. What a cluster flush that whole ordeal wound up being! Guys, please take caution cleaning these tb if they have got really gunked up. Disconnect battery before starting, I can't say dont take it off because it's the only way they can be thoroughly cleaned once they're to that point. If you use a brush, toothbrush whatever :) hang on to it because this is a vertical placed tb and things can be dropped in and cause 5x bigger job if the intake has to come off (I was lucky I had super long 16" needle nose pliers, that is a deep arse whole there) be prepared to spend a couple hondo$ on the job just in case something doesn't work out. |
