had my traction control light come on with ck engine light does this happen often

Welcome to the site. You'll need to have the code(s) read to in order for us to help determine what the problem is.

Actually this can indicate a malfunction that needs looking into. You can take it to your dealer or mechanic, or head to your local auto parts store and request that they "pull the codes".

Once you have the trouble codes, post them up here and we can give you an idea of what may need repairing.

It could be a wheel bearing getting loose so the speed sensor doesn't work properly or a bad speed sensor
