Been discussed many times. Try the Search function for many different threads on the subject.

If you have a check engine light on, you need to have the codes pulled and posted up so a diagnosis can be offered. No code numbers, we'd only be guessing.
Post up the actually code #s(ex. P0010) not just the description.

Also should have put this question in the Problems section, not General HHR.

It can be caused by a speed sensor in a wheel hub but without the code number it is just a guess. This is where computers come in handy as they can tell you what made the error come up. They don't always tell you why but they give you a direction to look.
