Traction Control Off
Hello All---
This happens every few days: I'm pulling out of a traffic light, and if I hesitate a little and let up in the gas just a bit, and the traction control off light comes on, and it shifts very hard. I have to turn the car off and back on again to get the light to go back off. What could be causing this? Could I be letting up in the gas between gears or something? Thanks! Andy |

I looked they have deleted it. If you check for codes, po10 and po11 the tc light come on but it is not the traction control that light comes on for many codes, if you grt those 2 codes it needs to replace the 2 cam solenoids for both the intake and the exhaust. Patr numbers intake #1262834, exhaust #12628347 i paid about $110.00 for both solved my problem and many other people, remove the air cleaner the 2 are on the left end of the engine takes a 10mm ****et very easy to do maybe a half hour to do both fixed my problum did this about 3 weeks ago good luck, they control the variable valve timing, i had over 20,000 misfires if you have the factory manual they control a lot of other things.

Here is a documented procedure(WITH PICTURES) for replacing those solenoids: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-tutorial-library-21/camshaft-position-actuator-solenoid-valve-replacement-w-pics-p0010-11-p0013-14-a-28779/ - as mentioned previously, it is a pretty easy job and takes 45 minutes max.. The parts in Canada from a GM dealer were $75 for eash solenoid.
