trouble code

I have a 2006 hhr and the code PO 306 came up.What does this mean?Thanks Douglas

Actually the code would be P0306 (zero, not the letter O), and being that there are no 6 cylinder HHRs, that code is invalid. P030x refers to misfires on the appropriate cylinder - the 6 in this case refers to the sixth cylinder.

Are you sure you have a code p0306. This code is means you have a misfire in cyl number 6
