Dam, that sucks. I don't suppose the engine is still under warranty?

How did you manage to kill a new engine?

You tell me. It has oil and ran just fine when I put it on the trailer. When I went to start it to drive it off the trailer the starter just spun. All I can figure is it rolling in gear a bit on the trailer somehow did it. Other than that I have zero idea and zero motivation to try and figure out exactly what happened.

Wow. I’m confused. Why do you think it’s shot ? Just because the starter won’t engage ? Have you even looked at it like pulled the valve cover ? Turned it over by hand ?
My guess is it’s probably something simple like a bad wire connection.

I can't imagine how bobbing around on a trailer could possibly have any effect on the engine. More likely changing the radiator disturbed something. Somebody will get a good deal.

Oh yeah. Replaced the radiator. No explanation on why he had to replace it. Maybe he ran it so hot with the bad radiator that it killed the engine.
Just guessing since a lot of the details are missing.

I changed the radiator because the plastic output started leaking and its an easy job to do at work. It also ran fine after I changed the radiator. It didnt overheat, but overheating would more likely effect a head gasket. While Im very new to these low clearance motors I dont see how overheating would cause this kind of damage even if it did.

While im very new to low clearance engines, im not new to mechanics. In my younger years I was ASE certified. That was back with carbs and before absolutely everything was run by a computer, but the principles of how a combustion engine operates are the same. Im not a complete idiot.

Yeah, there is a warning light. Wish GM had been nice enough to put one that works on this piece of garbage. Its been one thing after another. Electrical, ECM, plastic parts breaking inside and out. Nobody in my family liked it to begin with and I have had my fill of it and low clearance engines. I will leave them to someone much for forgiving than me or the piece of garbage engine.

What damage would that be ? All you’ve said is it’s shot. No explanation. No pics. We were curious and asked you but you didn’t reply.
And what is a low clearance motor ?
