Warning lights after tire rotation
Just got a call back from the dealer's service manager. The only reason to reset the computer during a tire rotation is if the car is equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system. There is nothing to trip the warning light during a tire rotation on an HHR, which is exactly what everyone here said. Now I have to figure out what the dealer did to initiate the problem (hopefully they didn't start the engine before filling it with oil). Thanks for the feedback.

You would hope that they wouldn't be stupid enough to do something like that but lately I've seen some pretty stupid things.
During my last oil change I picked up my car to find that my MPG had dropped by 2.5 miles. Turns out the tech's let the car sit and idle for who knows how long. I thought it was absolutely ridiculuous for them to idle my car for that long!
Aparrently it's best to watch over these guys like a hawk to make sure they don't screw anything up.

I believe it is on other chevy models though, just not the 06 HHRs..

I would insist they fix it as there were no problems prior so whatever they did probably initiated the problem, then I would find a Dealer who can spell HHR.

Had a bad hole in one tire, i got a tire changer in my shop. I took off the tire, plugged and patched it. No Sensors anywhere in the rim, and no codes. gotta love the "Certified" tech answers. Tell him the kanooter valve is leakin too
That has to be the silliest thing I've heard a customer has been told. Better have someone check your vehicle out that has an idea what makes it work. Sounds as if they have damaged the brake system somehow, probably when they hoisted the vehicle up, more than likely on a lift of some sort that has damaged something. The traction control light comes on if you set the emergency brake, so maybe there would be a good place to start. Take it to another dealer, tell him what happened, I'm sure he'll laugh all the way to the lift to have it corrected. These dealship service departments get very competitive. But above all, get it fixed, you didn't deserve to have a malfunction for rotating your tires. Rotated mine in my garage, using a floor jack and jack stands, No Lights, everything working as it did before.
