Db/sb have you gone to rotolo in Fontana? They're a pretty good dealer and have a good service dept. The 36/36 warranty isn't a true bumper to bumper. Like paint for instance is only covered the first year. The bumper to bumper warranty is only mechanical/electrical nothing cosmetic.

I haven't been to that dealership. I've been to Center Chevrolet in San Bernardino which is now closed, and Crest Chevrolet in San Bernardino. No problems at either, Just recently had a catalytic converter replaced under warranty at Center. The only other dealership I've used is Mark Christopher in Ontario. The owner is one of my brother in law's clients. That's where I go if I need something like fobs or a stereo programmed (or pretty much any kind of Tech 2 based work) since I can get it done free there.

Mark Chris ia another good dealer. I've only been to center once and it was years ago worst sales experience ever.

I think it depends on the dealer, I had my rear bowtie emblem replaced due to a water spot damage with no issues

Thanks for the responses. I sent a PM to Evan, the Chevy rep. I am in the process of typing the story out. Hopefully, it gets resolved.

Quote of the day from the manager at the dealership when talking about how I got a "free" brake adjustment:

"You got me more then I got you for...."

And 16,900 you needed a rear brake "clean and adjust" suggests other problems that a service department should have looked at. But, don't carpet bomb GM, even Hyundai will try it! The Service Department and the Sales Department are COMPLETELY different entities!! You have to remember that the Service Dept. has to submit a claim to GM in order to get paid for work performed, and GM doesn't pay $79/hour, kinda like Medicare, eventually somebody pays something but not the same as billed and 180 days later.

I was a line tech at GM dealers for lets just say a few years. His quote
"I got him for three hours labor that he was never going to make back."
3hrs for rear brake clean & adjust, Lube steering shaft bearing/bushing. I want that job ! I'm retired and can still flat rate that job in about .9hr thats 2.1hrs of free money yea baby bring it on. At dealers I worked at thats about 1.5-2hrs max even at CP (customer pay) not warranty

Sorry just could not let this one just go by!
