weird heated seat issue

This is really strange and just started last night......

The lumbar part of the driver's seat heating element is staying on!

Suggestions, ideas?

I can't be driving like that when it's 95+ outside.

Bad relay? (I would imagine these are on a relay, if not bad switch) As a temporary measure there should be a fuse you can pull.........

I've pulled the fuse, but wouldn't a bad relay or switch affect at least the entire driver's seat?

Not sure if it's a single relay for both elements.... heating elements draw a lot of current and there is such a thing as dual relays ...... I'm just going on general electronics knowledge, I don't know what GM uses here and I don't have the heated seats so I can't check mine.

Fuse shut it down temporarily I hope...

I was just looking in the repair manual for the '06 and it looks like there is a multi-function HVAC control module 2, that controls the heated seats so there may not be a separate relay as such. Also says there is only one element per seat, (IE drivers or passengers) so if only the lumbar is heating and not the "butt" portion there must be a problem with the element.
