Wet Floor

Why would I be getting dampness in my passenger floor carpet or my 2008 Panel??? I doubt it's water coming from outside because it hasn't rained here in a week or so.

If you haven't had rain, and it's not from washing, could be the heater core.

@Rikki Sixx, in my personal opinion and experience with other vehicles, I agree with solman98 about possibly a heater core. You’ll want to get the vehicle checked out for this. Please, let us know how things are going.

If it was the heater core wouldn't it be antifreeze?

Since your in Florida...
Could be the A/C is not draining. When the drain gets plugged it can end up on the passenger side.
Happened in my Malibu this summer, I turned a corner fast and it was a waterfall on the passenger side.

i suspect heater core as well as all of the GM vehicles we have owned had the same issue with a wet carpet and ended up being from the core

if only in your radiator is not water.
Leaking heater - smelly antifreeze.

one more thought

glass wash water can flow into the cabin. How to deal with it - I do not know. May blame the door seal. I think - the water flows from the glass under the hood, more water runs off to the side and somehow it gets into the crack between the door and the fender.

Thanks guys. It's not anti freeze, it's plain water. It seems to be coming out of the air vent that comes down from under the dash and collects on the left side of the floor. Maybe condensation of some sort???

Snoopy 12-12-2012 07:18 PM

Solman mentioned about washing the car. Did you do that reasonably close to noticing the leak?
