What did i do to my SS????
Hey George, the engine wont warm up at all as it starts cold and runs for about 30seconds before stalling out. I did what you said by just turning on the key without starting and check the RPD so the pic I took above of the RPD is what the fuel pressure reads right now. If i start it, if it will start at all right now it wont run long enough to give a reading when warm.
And i just want to thank you guys for all your help and patience. In the last 3 years ive probably put less than 100km on it. This is the last thing i need right now and usually by now its put away for the winter but since its been so mild and there hasnt been snow on the ground its still on the road. Once the snow comes it will be parked til spring. I dont want to put it away with this problem lingering as it will eat at me till winter is over lol. I just want it fixed so i can put her away with my mind at ease knowing come springtime shes ready to rock!!

It shows in some Saab and other forums as snake oil causing engine codes and stuff all cleared after the first tank full was run through and then after the second tank of fuel all was well with the engine.
Ok heres an update..... I removed both ecm fuses and negative battery cable and left it overnight. In the morning Iplugged it all back in and cold fuel pressure was 1500-2000 and it ran well for about 2 minutes until it warmed up and then the fuel pressure dropped quickly to 32 and then the engine stalled out and will not start again. The RPD reads 32psi with only the key on.
And George to answer your question, im an idiot i guess. I usually put 94 in my tank but i was liw on funds and filled half my tank with 91 so i added the octane boost just figuring it would help? I didnt figure it would do any harm as ive used it on many of my cars in the past with no problems at all. Ill never use it again thats for sure.
