wheel loks&key missing

greetings, was getting ready to go in for our 2011 hhr's first service, mileage 4300 km &got to thinking about tire rotation &just remembered i hadn;t seen the 4 lug nuts and key anywhere in the car. checked the original bill of sale& sure enogh the dealer charged me $29.95 for them. as we bought the vehicle 4 mths ago i assume i might have a problem getting them replaced, interestingly i had no problem finding them in the glove box of our 2009 hhr new from the same dealer 2 yrs previous. i am glad i checked our 2011 as i would hate to have problem on the road with no key.i wonder how many more are missing and owner isn;t aware.best to check.anyway am going back to dealer to see if they will rectify the problem with out additional expense to me,sure would have to take my bussiness elswhere for the sake of $29.95 BUT I DEAL IN PRINCIPALS&GOOD FAITH. will post a reply as soon as i know something.
regards&later KEWATIN:roflol:

If you have a spare tire did you take it out & look underneath? If you have a fix a flat kit it could be wedged into the Styrofoam kit housing.... Did you check the two rear compartments under the rear rug behind the seat? Wedged next to the battery? I know it sounds like dumb questions but I've been called worse before....

The folks at the factory put mine in the left hand storage compartment behind the rear seat, but I'm sure they tended to put them about anywhere you can think of.
