Where is the knock sensor on the Ecotec engine?

It is bolted on the front of the block, right above the starter. You have to be underneath the HHR to eyeball it. Its wire terminal connects to a main wiring harness pigtail connector that is mounted to the dipstick tube.

grounded knock sensor like we were doing for the sentras, gained a couple of hp for like 5 bucks.

Jeez... There's all kinds of these little things that can be done to pick up a little more mojo... I need to take a mechanic's course or something
