whistling noise

Today is the first day that the weather was nice enough for me to drive to work with the windows down. There is a high pitched whistling noise that sounds like it is coming from the drivers mirror.

Anyone else experience this? And if so how did y'all correct it?

Yeah mine does it too, and it is coming from the mirror. There's another post on this topic somewhere. Mine isn't as loud as others so it doesn't bother me.

My mirror does the same thing brand new HHR this past week. May have the mirror replaced. If you put your finger on the upper inside corner of the mirror bracket near the mirror, the noise disappears. I am waiting for a few more miles befor going back to the dealer with that one.

A wway to get rid of the noise is to close the front windows and open the back ones then you will definately go deaf from the rumbling/air turbulance.

yea, I was playing with different window openings this morning, and at one point I thought that I was gonna pop an ear drum from the wind buffeting.
