wobble on acceleration
Any clues? My 2008 HHR panel 5 speed gets a shimmy under acceleration from what feels like the right front wheel. Have H & R lowering springs, 18's and several other performance upgrades. 82,000 miles. Shocks are OE but replaced at 65,000 miles.

Putting your post here at the end of this "Sticky", it will get overlooked. |
My first post move!

I would look at hubs, maybe CVs. Threw a balance weight on the RF wheel?

Engine or tranny mounts???

Bent rim ? run through any potholes lately ?

Thanks, for the ideas and this is my first post.

Welcome to the site. The post move was my first official act as a mod, that's what that was all about. Nothing to do with you, it happens. That's what mods are for.

Don't overlook a bad tire, broken or shifted belts can give you a wobbling sensation.
Look over the tire carefully for any odd bulges in the sidewalls. |
A bad trailing control arm bushing can cause a shimmy on acceleration.
