wobble on acceleration

Any clues? My 2008 HHR panel 5 speed gets a shimmy under acceleration from what feels like the right front wheel. Have H & R lowering springs, 18's and several other performance upgrades. 82,000 miles. Shocks are OE but replaced at 65,000 miles.

joepro. You should start your own thread if you have a question about a problem you're having.

Putting your post here at the end of this "Sticky", it will get overlooked.

My first post move!

I would look at hubs, maybe CVs. Threw a balance weight on the RF wheel?

Thanks, for the ideas and this is my first post.

Welcome to the site. The post move was my first official act as a mod, that's what that was all about. Nothing to do with you, it happens. That's what mods are for.

Don't overlook a bad tire, broken or shifted belts can give you a wobbling sensation.

Look over the tire carefully for any odd bulges in the sidewalls.

A bad trailing control arm bushing can cause a shimmy on acceleration.
