Wobble hunting!

So under acceleration I get a front end wobble which seems to come from the right drive side in my 2008 LT Panel 2.4.standard transmission. On previous posts their were three potential problems. Lower control arms, motor mounts, and CV joints. My question would be, how much should the engine move when you accelerate with the brake held. The CV joints seem to be tight with no damage and I have replaced the lower control arms which did have ware. Wheels balanced & recently aligned, but going to re-check alignment.

Thanks, might be better to delete post 1 and continue with post 2 if that can be done?

I have had the inner joints on the axle shaft make a wobble under load. It's not very easy to see a worn inner joint.
What happens is the inner joint normally plunges back and forth with normal driving.
If there is a worn spot on the inner joint the slide catches the worn spot and it pushes the shaft one way or the other witch give you a wobble only under a load.
The only way I know to check it is to look for looseness between the shaft and the inner joint when turning the shaft by hand. The front wheels need to be off the ground.

T'was the night before Christmas and in the garage the "Wobble" was loose and what is the cause? Alignment all good, mounts right and tight, new lower control arms all nestled in place. Off we go for the test. Wobble, Wobble still on the loose. So CV axles in hand up on the stand for "Wobble" hunting still planned! First to the right, then to the left, all done now but must get some rest! Down from the jack stand lickty split, high octane ready to be lit! K & N blows a cool sweet tune, trifecta do your thing while Magna Flo
says Merry Merry Roar Roar to all. Short throw in gear off we go with all the stars to hear
"NO WOBBLE, NO WOBBLE HERE!"
Merry Christmas to all and blessings for the New Year.

I'm glad you got it fixed. That has to be the coolest way that I have ever seen someone say the problem is fixed
