Nice video. Saw your other topic with the timeslip. I left a message for you on youtube...so people who do not own such a car as your HHR SS would stop and think how versatile this vehicle is. To get into the 13s is cool!!!

Can you list you mods done to your vehicle in this thread. I am going to be getting a HHR SS in the very near future and would be interested in what you have done. And when listing, please include if any mods decreased MPG or overall drivability/reliability.

Thanks, Dan

Hahn tune only, stock tires, 1/4 tank of gas, 5-speed with lsd. I don't know about the gas mileage. In town I probably get average 23 or less and that's with all in town. haven't done any big trips but small trips are anywhere from 27-30. Both of these are normal driving without trying to get good gas mileage. i drive it to have fun, and not for the mpg's, although it gets much better than the Trailblazer SS I traded in to get this. It's awesome to drive, lot's of fun, and with only 8k miles in a year knock on wood no problems. And by the way you can get other tunes with the same performance for a lot less $$$

I have an 09 hhr ss with the lsd and brembo package, i am stock with a hp tuners tune that i did myself in like 15 minutes, my best time is 14.098@103 but my 60' was horrible. These cars with a tune shouldnt have any problem hitting 13s with a good launch. Congrats. My first run ever was a 14.1@102 with just a tune and the stock rev limiter in place. 60' kills me since i dont have torque limiter on, ill hit 20psi in first even.

Yes, I have tried staying in 3rd, but just hit the rev limiter. I know some cobalt guys are able to stay in 3rd, but their gearing is a little different. I'd be interested to compare time slips if you still have them.
