HHR SS.....Lets get to the track!!!!!

Hey tuned HHR SS guys! Any tune, stage kit, or even stock. Lets get to the track and give some results! If you haven't been to the track yet, then get there. I've seen all kinds of dyno numbers and stuff, but in my mind it's how it's put to the pavement that counts! For people that are not tuned yet, lets give them a gauge on what they're buying! I know that it is a lot driver, weather, and everything else, but it will give them an idea! I'm personally looking at different options, but I haven't seen enough results. I'll start.....
Hahn tuned otherwise stock. 08 HHR SS 5-speed 14.1 at 103 mph street tires.

I agree, and if you have never raced at a track it is well worth it! It will put a grin on your face like you never would believe!

I have not had my SS to the track yet, but plan to soon. I am a little gun-shy after my shifter blowout this past weekend, but I think that was all my fault. (And maybe a little too much coffee!) I'd like to get a couple of my buddies down to the Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove, WI soon. It is not too far from Racine where I work. I tested my '93 Eldorado with a 4.6L-32V Northstar there and ran a 14.7 at 94mph. Not too bad for a big ol Caddy!

Yes they will, and especially if we get to see some results from the track (hint hint)

My best time in the 1/8mi track with my auto 09 HHR SS was 10.029 stock, and is now 9.415 with the GMPP Stage 1 kit and Dejon BOV spring. My best 60ft was 2.404, and is now 2.287. My best mph in the 1/8th was about 70mph before the tune and spring, and is now 77.99. All of these could be greatly improved with a good set of drag radials, and these are all with the auto trans, no nifty no-lift-shift or hard MT shifts!

i was hoping the stage 1 auto had a little more in it than that. your 60' times are pretty high though, if you can get those down that will make a nice difference.

This is a good start, the weather is nice, if you haven't been to the track yet, hit it up! No excuses, summer is here.

Yeah, my biggest problem is off the line, which is why I mentioned the drag radials or slicks. Off the line this thing spins through 2nd! Makes getting anywhere fast a hard thing to do! Once you get off the line faster, you will get through the gears faster, and all times will go down. Should have bought the drag radials when I had the chance!

yeah i forgot how bad fwd launches once you have a little power after i got used to driving the srt6.

it makes it fun though, look at it as a challenge to keep it under control.
