Only advise I can give is, Powell "Hardcore" 1 1/2" rear bar, Pedders XA coilovers, 255/40/18 Hankook v12 "sticky" tires, and then drive it like the "Devil is on your butt". You'd be surprised how many V8's you can embarrass, and how many thought your HHR wasn't fast. Most fun you can have with your pants on. "Moon"

X2 on the powell bar, very impressive handling in the curves, but it could be the KWv2's helping out a bit. I went with my smaller tires 245x40 and am getting a much crisper turn in with them than I had with my 255x40's.

thanks for the advice
Since drag racing at the level I was racing at is getting more and more expensive
autocrossing seems to be a blast.
I really like the part where I can blame my driving and not what I should of or could have done on the car.
In drag racing as long as I do a burnout properly stage properly leave on the tranny brake the right way and cut a good light have the chassis right and hit my shift points I can usually only blame one thing and that is th performance of the car which I am of course responsible for.
anyhow I was shocked at how the hhr just glided through the turns like it was made for it.
If you guys have any videos of your hhrs autocrossing I would love to see them

Those V12 tires are good for the money, but your probably not a stranger to good tires with a racing background so spend a little more if you get into autox. I had V12s in 225s on the hhr and I thought it was easy to push them to their limit. I put Bridgestone RE11 on the solstice. They will make you grin.
