My Stock HHR's SS 1/4 mile ET's
Good to see another RWD person converting to this Wrong Wheel Drive.
I know what you mean, I'm used to my LT4. Your 60' is killing you. You'll be right with me with the same 60' that I was getting.
Try launching like you're taking off from a stoplight fast enough to stop the poor chap in the Civic Si next to you from getting over in front of you.
I use the NLS feature on every run. I found, for me, the best way to launch is 2K - 2.5K and slip the clutch, finally getting full throttle by the top of 1st gear. I keep my foot through the floorboard on the "go" pedal while I shift to 2nd, same for the 2 - 3 shift. Going to 3rd with the NLS option is tricky, but well worth it when you get it down. I was experimenting with shifting to 4th on some of my slips and I found that I could just make it to the finish line in 3rd for the best ETs. Good luck and practice, practice, practice.
