Yeah ima see what my dyno class uses for tuning when I take it maybe I can get a free hp tune When they do anycar dyno it's like 25 dollars

Cool video with the kids routing ya on.
I would get something in writing from GM on the whole tune issue.
Just don't want to see ya break something down the road and have GM say sorry you had an aftermatket tune in it which voids 5 year 100k drivetrain warranty which they no doubt would say.
After seeing your video I came across a video I had been looking for
Which just happens to be a hhrss auto running a tbss from a roll

Oh my God, I don't know what was going on last night at the track, but everybody, and I mean everybody, except myself, was breaking stuff last night! I probably should have stayed home, as it was a bounty race weekend anyway. Alot of busted tranny and blown motors last night. I was joking with the track attendant when I was staged against a bigger than huge block S-10 that at least it was another Chevy's taillights id be following down the track, jokingly. I mean you could have fit all four of my tires into one of his. So I swallowed hard and prepared for an ass whipping. tree goes, he is gone before I can blink. Next thing I know.. Oh ****, what did I do, as all of a sudden my windshield is misted with oil. Up in front of me the S-10 is in flames! I go shooting by as he is scrambling out of the truck. It was as close to a Days of Thunder moment as I ever care to get.

Out at the track today...

1st practice run. 12.56 @ 110.97 64' 71 Humidity. 3,000rpm launch
0-60 foot. =. 1.8268
0-60 MPH. =. 3.6 per my HPTuner log

2nd practice
run 12.65 @ 110.35 67' 61 Humidity. 2,500rpm launch

That's it, 2 time practice runs. I'm doing 3,000rpm launches during eliminations.

1st round WIN:nuts: 12.5750 @ 111.30 on a 12.56 dial in. 70' 56 Humidity

It's 1:30pm & raining now, looks like at least a one hour delay...:sun:
Rain Out....
More rain coming, so they called it a day
Got a rain check anyway, a free raceday...

I ran in 'comp' mode today, just to try it out...
It sucked. I reviewed my HP logs, & it was holding me back...:skull1:
No more 'Comp' mode for me...

Foolmoon
Just read your post
Makes ya wonder why everyone was breaking?

Nice runs sounds like 12.49 is right around the corner for ya.
Any idea what comp mode was doing to hurt performance?

BigJack, thought it was a little strange myself, but it was a bounty race weekend, most of those guys only run once a month, and have massive amounts of HP.

2005, I actually like rainchecks. Like you said a free pass for the following weekend. I still have not entered into a Saturday race event. Any pointers? Or what is it all about. Still a real newbie to it even though I try and go every Friday.

2005,
Looking at your time slips my 1/8 mph is only off your speed by 2 mph, but the fastest I've ever done it was 8.77

My logs showed 5' knock retard, in a zigzag pattern, during the whole
1/4 mile, with 'comp' mode on.
I don't get knock, as I'm running E47.5
So, somehow, for whatever reason, 'comp' mode is rapidly taking away,
5' of timing, than giving it back, the whole run ???

I would love to see what you would run on a 1/4 mile.
Is your track at sea level ?

No track is about 1700 hundred up.
