Took the SS autocrossing

Finally took the HHR autocrossing instead of the Banana. Completely stock auto other than a progress rear swaybar and some 255/35/18 Potenza RE71R's. Ended up 34th out of 121 entrants, in front of a lot of "faster" cars, including, but not limited to, an '07 and '12 Porsche GT3, a few Corvettes, and an Ecoboost Camaro. Here are a few teaser shots. Once I get around to not being lazy, I'll have some on board footage as well.

Awesome. Looks like it was a bit wet there. How'd it handle overall?

Nice, now for some runs to dial in the handling and move up the board.

No, he is one of the very experienced guys that runs in this group. I'm pretty good, I just don't have a ton of seat time. This was only my third season. I was only about 2 seconds behind him thougb.

You can shave that off! Just a few runs to figure your marks and your reaction time to the track , go get 'em!

I probably could, but two things are stopping me.

First being that this was my last season in Washington. I'm moving to Iowa in about a month and a half.

Second being that the HHR isn't my usual racecar. Typically I race the Banana, but I was stuck in 4th place in my class, regardless of who did or didn't run, so I figured I'd see what the HHR would do. It certainly surprised a lot of people.
