Now for tires do not buy street tires thinking it well get the job done. All they well do is spin until the cows come home.lol now you have Dr's or slicks.

If you go dr's here your opitions:

Mickey et streets 18"
http://www.jegs.com/p/Mickey-Thompso...53925/10002/-1

Now if you have brembos like me you can not got lower then a 17" rim so when you find a 17" rim for drag setup you can run these:

17" Hoosier dr's

Or

17" nitto nt555r
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NIT-180660/

Or

17" race master m&h dr's

There is more info on slicks and dr's in this tread:

This should help those looking for info how to get your HHR to hook at the track.
Happy racing :twothumbs:

^ thanks more info the better.

Nice Rob! Great sticky

Chains are a bit much, they are to keep the springs in place. And no one here is gonna pop a wheelie, unless in reverse. Plus you run the risk of twisting parts.

How are you traction bars holding up? Dd with those over speed bumps yet.

RobSSTurbo 07-17-2012 01:47 PM

Traction bars are great I can go in to car wash with them no problem, haven't hit anything with them knock on wood.
