Hope you are planning to spend some money on the transmission if you get 300 hp.

I have seen an LS1 (350ci) in a civic, if that's possible, anything is possible!

Just wait for Lingenfelter to come out with the HHR Twin Turbo Kit

There is a 19 yr old girl here in So.Cal that runs a non-turbo unblown Cobalt. 2 years ago I saw her run 11.20 sec in the 1/4 at Pomona. The car sounds sweet. Talked to her father and he was going to super charge it. They were shooting for 9 second e.t.'s.

She runs most Tursday evenings at Irwindale raceway street drags.

So.Cal. Speed Shop ran an HHR at B'ville, but at 249mph it went airborn. They have built a few Eco motors and gone real fast.
I can't imagine the transmission and drivetrain problems with 1100HP! But I'd like to know what they are.

And yes, converting a Camaro to FWD is usually enough to send one to hell... :)

Here's one by Year One (go grab a towel first for cleanup afterwards):

GM Performance parts LS6 circle track 585 Horse Power V8 engine, TCI TH700-R4 overdrive automatic transmission, NOS Nitrous system, narrowed 2001 Z28 rear axle assembly.

Can I get a "hell yeah!"?

I can see in 10 years maybe, when the Red Sled is a little tired and I'm moving on to an electric or hydrogen car for a daily driver... doing exactly this.

With side pipes. And fuel injection.

Here's another one from Unique Performance:

It has a V8 engine with supercharger and rear wheel drive modification.
